RESULT OF AIMPT 2018: The AIMPT 2018 is scheduled to be on May 2018 (Sunday) and the result of AIMPT 2018 is expected to be declared on Jun 2018. The result of AIMPT 2018 EXAM will be announced online. The result can be viewed name wise or roll number wise on the website www.cbseresult.nic.in which is the official site for viewing AIMPT result. The candidates who qualified for the exam are called for counselling after which they can get admission in medical college. The candidates appearing in AIMPT exam can take admission in MAULANA AZAD MEDICAL COLLEGE, ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE, MADRAS MEDICAL COLLEDGE, UNIVERSITY COLLEGE OF MEDICAL and other colleges which give admission on the basis of AIMPT result 2018. Some college have their own entrance exam they do not give admission on the basis of AIMPT entrance exam.

- Log in to the official CBSE website, cbseresult.nic.in
- The result log will appear where the candidate is required to fill his roll number.
- And then enter your date of birth.
- After clicking on Submit, the result will be displayed.
- Candidate can download the rank card and check their rank.
Factors affecting AIMPT result
- Number of candidates who have registered for AIMPT exam.
- Number of candidates who appeared in the exam.
- Reservation policies of the government.
- Difficulty level of the exam is also a factor.
The level of competition is increasing by each passing year. In 2018 registration for AIMPT Entrance exam has increased to 632,620 from previous year 616,982. But there is a decrease in the number of candidates who have appeared in the exam. Reservation is also a challenging factor, 15% seats are reserved for SCs, 7.5% are reserved for STs and 27% are reserved for OBCs.
Cut off in AIMPT
The cut off of AIMPT is generally 50% for general category and 40% for the SCs, STs and OBCs.
ABOUT AIPMT EXAM
AIPMT or All India Pre-Medical Entrance Test is an examination held for getting admission in medical college of India. It is conducted by the central board of secondary education (CBSE) for admission to MBBS course in medical colleges of India. It is the responsibility limited to CBSE to conduct and announce the merit list. AIMPT is a test to check your basic knowledge up to 12th and your aptitude to perform under time constraint.
AIMPT is conducted by the CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION so it follows the NCERT syllabus. The test is conducted for the 15% merit positions in the medical colleges of India. The exam is usually conducted on the first Sunday of May. The exam consist of180 questions from botany, zoology, physics and chemistry having 45 questions from each subject. Each question carries 4 marks. And for every incorrect answer one mark is deducted. Due to increasing competition AIMPT exam has become hard to crack.
